I’m Emily Lenich – founder and lead event designer of Particulars. We thrive on the excitement and creativity that goes into planning the perfect event – weddings, galas, corporate events.
I founded Particulars Planning after firmly establishing roots in Evergreen, Colorado in 2008. I was born and raised in Georgia and like to think I have the perfect mix of southern values and modern views. A few of the people and things that I hold dear:
- my husband and the way he makes me laugh like no one else on the planet – he is the best husband and father I could’ve ever dreamed of – I am a lucky girl!
- my son, his voracious love of reading and how tightly he hugs me when I tuck him in at night
- my daughter’s fearlessness – though I suspect it is much more admirable at age four than it will be when she reaches teenage years
- my extended family – way down south in dear old Georgia – what fun we have when we all get together
- my incredible friends – some of the most fashionable, talented and kind women on the planet – oh, and they aren’t too shabby on the slopes
- the mountains that beckon me daily – whether hiking, skiing or just enjoying the view, I feel so lucky to live in Evergreen with so much of God’s natural beauty right outside my door
- sweet tea (the way my Momma makes it)
My company is based on the belief that our clients’ needs are of the utmost importance. We are fully committed to making sure those needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
My name is Michaela Bader. I’m the Lead Coordinator and Marketing Genius behind Particulars. Emily & I have more fun than people should while working. We have the BEST clients and spend lots of time bent over in laughter (it’s kind of like an ab workout at times). Since March of 2010, I have assisted over 25 couples with planning the weddings of their dreams. I like to make sure as we go through the design, planning and coordination of your perfect day, that we never lose sight of the real reason all this effort is being put forth – you’re getting MARRIED!
Emily asked me to name a few of my favorite things…
- Finally, after six years of dating + 18 months of planning (note: it doesn’t always take that long – completion of DPT by fiance was necessary)….this past July, I married the love of my life, Dade Smith, in a wedding that was off the charts, if I do say so, myself. (Oh, and that is me in my wedding dress above – I don’t dress like that normally).
- My family – my parents will celebrate their 40th Anniversary this year. They are loving, kind and supportive. My siblings have blessed me with four little ones who call me “Auntie”. I love to spoil them with love and sugar (and then promptly return them to their parents).
- Colorado – I was born with a Rocky Mountain High and I’ve never lost it. I could have a “Native” sticker and “Pioneer” plate – but I don’t need that because I am the real deal. I love all that Mother Nature has blessed us with – you can (try to) catch me on a hiking or mountain biking trail – or on my board shredding the gnar.
